Hi! My name is Kristi. I am a photographer, makeup artist, and owner of Gothic Moon Studio. We are a family owned business that loves all things art.  We serve Cleveland County (NC), the surrounding area, and any where else our services are wanted.

I love photography! It is such a rush when I see the final product, knowing I created it. My clients seem to have a similar reaction. "I can't believe that's me!" is a common reaction to their prints. A huge smile is always part of every reaction and that is what pushes me to continue to learn, improve my skils and  do even better work. I adore making my clients feel good about themselves. The mother of a little girl I once shot reported her daughter's first words upon seeing her images as, "Wow mommy, she made me look so pretty!" Of course she was beautiful without my help, but I cannot put into words how wonderful that made me feel.

I enjoy all types of shoots. Children are so much fun! They are so honest in their emotions and it is magical when that is caught on film. I feel so honored that people allow me to be a small part of their birthdays, engagements, pregnancies, anniversaries, bridal, and so many other celebrations. Capturing these events is so important and I feel blessed that people choose me to do that for them.

My true love and goal is to create portraits that pose as fine art. We here at Gothic Moon Studio love it when clients want more than the norm. ..because the norm just isn’t us. I am a lover of all things horror, fantasy, and sci-fi. So, if you want more than to just smile and snap a picture, this is the place for you.
